MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Patriots will have both starting tackles in their matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Despite missing practice and being limited in two, Morgan Moses is active for the Patriots’ Week 2 matchup. The veteran right tackle suffered a foot injury in the team’s regular-season opening loss to Las Vegas.
Moses missed the first practice of the week on Wednesday and was listed as ‘questionable’ after being limited on Thursday and Friday.
The Patriots’ offensive line hopes to rebound after allowing four sacks and nine quarterback hits against the Raiders. They’ll take on a Dolphins defense, which features four players who had five or more sacks last season: Bradley Chubb (11 sacks), Zach Sieler (10 sacks), Chop Robinson (6 sacks), and Matthew Judon (5.5 sacks).
The Patriots have six players inactive on Sunday: cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring), defensive lineman Keion White (illness), receiver Efton Chism III, offensive lineman Caedan Wallace, defensive tackle Eric Gregory, and quarterback Tommy DeVito.
Chism, Wallace, and Gregory are healthy scratches.
After an outstanding offseason, Chism is still waiting to make his NFL debut. With Wallace inactive, the Patriots have only one player from last year’s draft class on their active roster – Drake Maye.
