Tom Brady Teases Major Personal Announcement Ahead of Raiders-Chargers

Though former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has been retired for two-plus seasons, some fans are still holding out hope Brady may make an NFL comeback.

He's all but shut that down since walking away from the Bucs after the 2022 season, making it clear he's fully devoted to his roles at Fox, where he's in Year 2 of a 10-year, $375 million contract to work on the network's lead broadcast team along with play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt, and as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion agreed to purchase a 10% ownership stake in the Raiders along with business partner Tom Wagner back in May 2023, and two months prior he also became a minority owner of the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces.

Though Mark Davis is still the team's majority owner, Brady clearly had a lot of influence in the team's key offseason decisions, including bringing in head coach Pete Carroll and trading for quarterback Geno Smith.

Brady clearly has his hands full with his business endeavors, but the 48-year-old teased on "Fox NFL Sunday" that he would make a major announcement during the Raiders-Los Angeles Chargers game on "Monday Night Football," drumming up excitement for something he's admittedly put a lot of work into.

"Tom Brady said on FOX that he will be at the Chargers-Raiders game tomorrow night and plans to announce something very special that he's been working on 'for a very long time.' 👀," The 33rd Team's Ari Meirov tweeted.

It's not know exactly what Brady has planned, but those hoping it's him announcing an NFL comeback will likely be sadly disappointed.
