Bruno Fernandes and Luke Shaw struggled as Man City defeated Manchester United 3-0 in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
It was an even start to the match before Phil Foden gave City the lead with a simple header inside the box after some excellent footwork from Jeremy Doku in the build-up. United continued to pose a threat on the break, though and went close to an equaliser when Bryan Mbeumo fired over the bar and Benjamin Sesko drew a stop from Gianluigi Donnarumma.
City started well after the restart and soon doubled their lead when Erling Haaland latched onto a through ball from Doku and dinked a simple finish beyond Bayindir.
The home side almost made it three when Haaland rounded the goalkeeper, only for his effort to be turned onto the post by Matthijs De Ligt. It wasn’t long before they did have a three when Haaland got the ball on the halfway line and raced through on goal to slot beyond Bayindir.
Here is how we rated the United players during the match:
He was shaky throughout and the lack of confidence had a negative impact on the entire backline.

The best of United's central defenders, which isn't saying much at all.
2. Leny Yoro - 5

He was nowhere to be seen when the cross came in for Foden's opener. He battled Haaland well and somehow denied a third.
3. Matthijs De Ligt - 4

Atrocious. Rinsed by Doku for the City opener and looked off the pace throughout the match. Got worse in the closing stages.
4. Luke Shaw - 3
