Erling Haaland continued his monstrous start to the season by leaving Premier League legends in his wake against Manchester United.
The Manchester City No.9 scored twice in a 3-0 derby win at the Etihad and shoved his way past two greats in two different categories.

The strikes were Haaland’s tenth and 11th goal involvements in the Manchester derby, sending him past the iconic Wayne Rooney’s nine.
He now has Ryan Giggs' all-time record of 13 goals involvements in his sights.
And if that isn’t impressive enough, Haaland was playing in the fixture for the sixth time, compared to Rooney’s 21 derbies.
His double also put him on 90 Premier League goals, leapfrogging the Norwegian over Chelsea legend Didier Drogba’s 88, doing so in 153 fewer games.

Haaland also reached his 50th home Premier League goal in just 50 games, with only Alan Shearer doing so quicker in 47 games.
Overall it’s one of Haaland’s best-ever season starts for club and country with 13 goals and two assists overall in eight games.
In his match prior to the Manchester derby, he found the back of the net five times in Norway's 11-1 World Cup qualifying win over Moldova.
Haaland previously scored three in three in the Premier League, with a double in a 4-0 win over Wolves and a strike in a 2-1 defeat to Brighton.
Despite the season only just starting, the 25-year-old is clearly a step ahead of his teammates who let him down in defeats to Brighton and Tottenham.
Overall the picture is bright, though, with Norway in pole position to qualify for their first World Cup since 1998, six points clear at the top of their qualifying group.

Yet despite his heroics, many of the headlines will again be taken by rivals United.
The defeat left Ruben Amorim with four points from four games, their worst Premier League start since the 1992/93 season under Alex Ferguson.
