Ruben Amorim has angered Manchester United fans with a defiant message after their derby day humiliation.
The Red Devils were hammered 3-0 on Sunday afternoon as Manchester City ran rings around a hapless United. However, speaking after the game, Amorim said he won't change his style of play just because United fans want him to.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the full-time whistle he said: "I am not going to change my philosophy... I will play my way until I want to change." And that comment left fans furious.
"He only knows one formation. Either 3-4-3 succeeds or the club will have to sack him," one fan moaned. While a second said: "Another season ruined..."
"He’s his own worst enemy. And his coaches aren’t up to the level. This isn’t Portugal," a third shared. As a fourth fumed: "The board need to sack him now if he’s not prepared to be flexible on a system that isn’t working and isn’t going to work!"

Amorim came into United after having a wealth of success in Portugal with his 3-4-3 season - but it has produced seven wins in the past seven months in England.
Speaking on his system, Keane questioned whether "maybe the players haven't got much faith in it", before taking aim at some of United's senior players.

Highlighting Luke Shaw's role in City's first goal, he said: "I think Shaw has been getting away with murder for years at United. Always injured, never quite fit, we make excuses...then he gets a few games under his belt and he's making decisions like he doesn't even want to tackle people."
It was also the first Manchester derby without a United player landing themselves in the book: "You look at all the stats for a derby match there. Not one yellow card.

"What happened to the big build-up. The Manchester derby, the weather, it's raining and set up for a few tackles flying in -strikes palm with fist].
"United walk off the pitch... I'm sick of repeating myself, you wake up you're going 'it's a derby game', physically [you should be] shattered. You shouldn't be able to get out of bed for a week after a tough game. And they're all walking off, not one yellow card!"
