Should the Browns stick with Joe Flacco or give Dillon Gabriel a shot?

It has caused fans to question whether the team should continue to start Flacco or if the organization should consider giving Dillon Gabriel a chance. Will this solve their offensive woes, or do the offensive struggles run too deep?

Flacco’s immobility and lack of speed in multiple aspects of the game are making it very challenging for the offense to move the ball and gain any momentum. Although the offensive line and run game struggles will still most likely persist if you swap in a new quarterback, it may be worth a shot to see if the offense can get some momentum with a younger and faster quarterback. Greater success in the passing game might even help open things up in the ground game.

For what it’s worth, HC Kevin Stefanski seemed to try to squash this very discussion after the Ravens loss:

Cleveland faces Micah Parsons and the very talented Green Bay Packers defense this week. This game would not be an ideal matchup to start a rookie for the first time, so it makes the most sense for the Browns to wait a little longer before they make the official move to Gabriel.
