Phil Foden and Erling Haaland, twice, were on target as City triumphed in the 197th Manchester derby with an emphatic victory.
Pep Guardiola’s side were deservedly ahead at the break when Foden impressively headed home Jeremy Doku’s cross in the 18th minute.
And Haaland doubled our lead eight minutes into the second half when he finished off a flowing City move with a stylish finish.
Gianluigi Donnarumma marked his first City appearance with a fine save to maintain his clean sheet before Haaland wrapped up the win with a clinical finish.
