ANTOINE Semenyo’s challenge on Maxim De Cuyper that saw the Brighton player slide into the advertising hoardings shortly before Bournemouth’s opening goal was ‘not a bad action’.

The pair were chasing after a long ball that looked to be heading for a [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) goal kick, but the two were shoulder to shoulder and the Seagull went into the hoardings after coming together with the Ghanaian.

De Cuyper needed treatment and was replaced not long after – but not before Bournemouth had taken the lead through a brilliant Alex Scott goal.

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler was not impressed with the challenge and said: “Yes, very unhappy.”

He added: “We have to just look at the video. I think everyone sees the videos and then we don’t have to discuss it anymore.”

But Iraola didn’t see anything wrong with it.

“I haven't seen it replayed,” he said.

“Live, I think it's not a bad action from Antoine. I think he’s trying obviously to protect the ball, but I haven't seen anything.”
