DETROIT — The Detroit Lions (1-1) reversed course on a lackluster Week 1 loss and dominated the Chicago Bears (0-2) with a 52-21 outburst at Ford Field on Sunday.
After scoring one touchdown in garbage time against the Green Bay Packers, the Lions’ offense exploded with over 500 yards of offense with Amon-Ra St. Brown getting a hat trick and still leaving four more Lions to get into the end zone.
It was a statement game for Detroit, who has now won six of its last seven games against the Bears, while also getting some payback with a decisive result against their former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, now coaching in Chicago.
