Frustrated Travis Kelce Slams Helmet, Shouts Expletive in Second Loss of the Season

Another one bites the dust. The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, September 14. The final score was 20-17.

Though at times the game was a nail-biter, the Kansas City Chiefs ultimately dropped the ball, and that includes Travis Kelce.

While Kelce, 35, is no doubt a seasoned vet of the league, he's hardly immune to getting worked up on the field. In fact, about an hour into the game, the Super Bowl champion was seen slamming his helmet on the ground and shouting, "I'm sick of this s–t."

It didn't take long for people to flock to social media to weigh in on the now-viral clip. "Tantrum Travis is at it again," one user wrote via X. "Why is old man Kelce so angry these days?" added another.

"Watching Kelce have a meltdown brings me so much joy," a third user chimed in, while a fourth echoed, "We are too, Travis. Catch the ball."

As most diehard NFL fans know, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles have a long history. For starters, KC lost to the Eagles during Super Bowl LIX in February 2025. The final score was 40–22. Prior to that, the Eagles lost to the Kansas City Chiefs during Super Bowl LVII in February 2023. The final score was 38–35.

Moreover, Kelce's older brother, Jason Kelce, played center for the Eagles for 13 seasons.

The Kansas City Chiefs are now 0-2. They lost their season opener on September 5, 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil, to the Los Angeles Chargers. The score was 27-21.

As for Kelce's fiancée, Taylor Swift, it's unclear whether or not the international pop star attended the big game. However, some fans theorize she snuck into the stadium.
