Seattle's Offense Saw More Of Its Pass Catchers Making Plays In 31-17 Win

Even though he may not have seemed excited, the rookie said it was a "surreal moment."

His first touchdown comes a week after not being targeted once and Macdonald, saying every week can't be the "Jax show," referring to Jaxon Smith-Njigba's performance in Week 1, where he accounted for more than 50 percent of the receptions.

Sunday's win was a much different story, with six different pass catchers recording at least one reception. Smith-Njigba led the way again with eight receptions for 103 yards, Kupp with 90 yards on seven catches, Horton with two receptions, 32 yards and a touchdown, Elijah Arroyo caught two passes for 31 yards, AJ Barner had a touchdown and 26 yards on two receptions and Kenneth Walker III caught one pass for 13 yards.

"That's kind of what I was trying to get at last week," Macdonald said. "This offense is designed to get the ball to everybody. And I felt like it did that today. And we're on our way on that front."

Smith-Njigba, who led the team in receiving yards and receptions said Sunday's offensive performance was, "Huge for us. We have threats all around the field. It just needed some time for them to come alive and here they are. Excited for these guys. Excited for Tory. And Coop is always going to be there for us. I feel great taking the field with those guys."
