“The Refs Are Clearly Helping” Eagles’ ‘Tush Push’ Play Sees Video Leak And Veteran Referee…

The Philadelphia Eagles started their season off 2-0 after two wins over the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs. Philadelphia won both of those games by a total of seven points. Against Kansas City, the Tush Push play was utilized more than once.

However, one veteran NFL referee admitted it’s time for a change.

As far as NFL plays go, the Eagles “Tush Push” remains one of the toughest ones to stop:

The Eagles are taking on the Chiefs on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia, leading Kansas City, 20-10, in the fourth quarter, have used the Tush Push to success multiple times in the Week 2 game. Jalen Hurts used it to score a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, extending his team’s lead to double digits.

But are the NFL’s referees missing penalties on the Eagles’ go-to play? NFL fans are convinced that the league’s referees are missing key penalties that allow Philadelphia’s linemen to get out to a fast start.

The key to the Tush Push is the, no pun intended, push that Philadelphia’s linemen are able to get off of the snap. But it’s easier to get a good push when the defensive linemen aren’t aware of the play getting started.

Slow-motion replay from FOX shows that Philadelphia’s two interior linemen, guards Landon Dickerson and Tyler Steen, having clear false starts.

NFL referees have been accused of intentionally looking the other way with the play, as others suggest that it’s essentially a “rigged” outcome.

“Ball still in the center’s hand, and they’re way across the line. SMH,” one fan wrote.

“NFL teams mostly voted to keep it so it is what it is. I hate it too tho!!! Especially, when the O line goes early,” one fan added.

“Why are you letting the eagles cheat like this. Their offensive line has been dancing and cheating all day plus you give them this illegal play plus you let them start early twice. RIGGED,” one fan added.

“So basically the Eagles are cheating with the tush push. They did it again BTW. This should have never been allowed,” one fan added.

The thing about the Tush Push is the Eagles commit about 17 penalties during it and the NFL just doesn’t call them.
