Liverpool could lose another top talent to Real Madrid as Man City 'receive' staggering £112m…

A closer look at some of the latest Premier League transfer rumours from over the weekend.

Premier League clubs are already considering their transfer business ahead of the January window and even beyond. The summer deadline hasn’t long passed but the rumour mill continues to churn out exciting rumours weekly.

The new year will bring plenty of transfer action to keep an eye on — even if deals don’t come to fruition in January, you can expect moves to be made that will lead to another exciting summer.

We’ve rounded up some of the latest transfer headlines for Premier League clubs, take a look below.

Real Madrid eye move for Liverpool forward

Real Madrid have made a habit of poaching top class players for free or very low fees in recent years. Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most recent example and now they are also hawking Ibrahima Konate, who has been linked with a move to to Los Blancos when his contract expires next summer.

Madrid aren’t ending their Liverpool raid there, either. According to Football Insider, the Spanish powerhouses are now linked with Mohamed Salah and could launch a ‘surprising’ move for his signature.

Fitting in with their other approaches for Liverpool players, Madrid will reportedly consider a swoop for Salah once he starts to approach the end of his contract in 2027. The Egyptian penned an extension with the Reds earlier this year, after hefty speculation over his future, along with Virgil van Dijk’s and Alexander-Arnold’s.

The 3AM Verdict: Salah remains one of the most clinical wingers in the world and he will likely still be fit and firing at 35, when his current terms withLiverpool are due to run out. The Reds are already starting to plan for a future without the influential winger, who has been at Anfield since 2017. It seems unlikely Real Madrid will reserve a starting position for a 35-year-old Salah in two years’ time and the Egyptian is a player who will push for regular minutes as long as he can.

Man City receive £112m bid from Saudi Arabia

Manchester City have reportedly had a whopping €130 million (£112m) offer land on their table from Saudi Arabia ‘in recent hours’. The approach is for the signature of Phil Foden, according to Fichajes.

The report claims that Al-Nassr have made the approach in attempt to bring Foden to their growing team, which already features the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Joao Felix, and ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mane.

Foden is still a highly-rated player at City and Pep Guardiola views him as an ‘untouchable’ part of his team. While his performances last season were more on the inconsistent side, he still has the full backing of the manager but as seen with multiple other Premier League figures, Saudi Arabia can be a very tempting destination.

The 3AM Verdict: Al-Nassr and the rest of the Saudi Pro League continue to target the world’s biggest football talents as they push to become a leading league. In recent years, SPL sides have poached top players from the Premier League with eye-watering cash offers, so it’s no surprise Foden is the latest to be subject to a mammoth transfer attempt.
