Manchester United loanee Harry Amass made his debut for loan club Sheffield Wednesday.
One of Manchester United’s breakthrough players under Ruben Amorim last season was Harry Amass, who made his Premier League debut in March.
Entering the 2025/26 season, Amass has found himself squeezed out at United by the arrival of Diego Leon, and Luke Shaw’s return from injury.
United sent Amass on loan to Sheffield Wednesday, and he made his debut at the weekend.

Harry Amass overcomes nightmare start
Harry Amass was named as a starter at the weekend as Sheffield Wednesday faced Bristol City, who had Manchester United loanee Radek Vitek in goal.
Sheffield Wednesday entered the weekend in the relegation zone and they are still searching for their first win.
Amass scored an own goal after just six minutes, deflecting a shot from Rob Dickie into his own net. It was certainly an unlucky start.
The Manchester United loanee settled, but his side were beaten 3-0, with Bristol City keeping up their unbeaten start to the season.

Amass played 68 minutes before he was substituted, having taken a knock that prevented him from continuing further.
The 18-year-old managed 40 touches, making five passes into the final third, while winning 5/9 duels he competed for.
It was certainly an uncompromising start to life in the Championship, and Amass will have to show character as his loan spell progresses.
Owls boss happy with Amass
Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has played down the injury Amass suffered, and explained that he was pleased with the left-back’s contribution.
Pedersen told the Sheffield Star: “He is OK. We spoke about if we should take him off at the half-time, but he said he could play some minutes more so we decided to continue with him.
“It was positive for him, very positive. It was his first Championship game ever and I am happy for what he did today.”
Amass’ status will be one to watch in midweek when Sheffield Wednesday face Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup, who knocked out Manchester United.
