**Newcastle United host Barcelona at St James' Park on Thursday as both sides get their Champions League campaigns underway.**
Barcelona have bags of talent to call upon to make life difficult for Newcastle, and plenty of players who can cause our defence no end of problems.
Despite being 37, Robert Lewandowski is one player Newcastle's back line will need to keep a close eye on.
You don't get to lead the line for Barcelona at 37 unless you still have plenty to offer, and Lewandowski certainly does.

Robert Lewandowski is one to watch on Thursday
Robert Lewandowski used to have a Newcastle United shirt
--------------------------------------------------------
The Polish striker has recently admitted in an interview with [The Times](https://www.thetimes.com/sport/football/article/robert-lewandowski-interview-tom-allnutt-60plkmc62) that he had a Newcastle United shirt growing up, and he used to wear it and copy a certain player's iconic celebration.
> “When I was growing up I remember I had the jersey of Newcastle, with Shearer No.9 on the back.“It was a family present and I wore it a lot because at the time he was right on the top.
>
> “Of course, I did the celebration as well, it was unique.”
Would Lewandowski bust out the Shearer celebration?
---------------------------------------------------
The question this poses for us is whether he scores on Thursday, he would dare break out the Alan Shearer celebration?
Hopefully, we'll not find out because Newcastle will keep Barca at bay for the entire game, or at least if he does score, it ends up being nothing more than a consolation goal.
We're sure Shearer would have something to say about it if he did.
