Dilane Bakwa shares what he felt about Nottingham Forest debut against Arsenal

Dilane Bakwa was announced as a Nottingham Forest player on deadline day, and due to the international break, fans had to wait quite a while to see him in action.

By the time Premier League football returned, Nottingham Forest had a new head coach.

Ange Postecoglou’s first lineup for Forest was quite similar to Nuno Espirito Santo’s, but he was forced to play Morato at left-back due to Ola Aina’s injury.

Dilane Bakwa was left on the bench, but once he came on, Bakwa excited Forest fans a lot with his performance.

The winger has now come out on social media, and has let his feelings about his debut be known.

Dilane Bakwa says Nottingham Forest debut was ‘proudest moment’

Dilane Bakwa took to Instagram to give his thoughts about Nottingham Forest’s defeat to Arsenal.

The 23-year-old only played 30 minutes, but despite the limited time on the pitch, and the result, he admitted it was still a major career highlight.

The winger said, “Not the result expected but definitely one of my proudest moments so far. Delighted to have my first Premier League minutes defending these colors and already looking for the next game. The road ahead is long.”

Nottingham Forest’s next match comes against Swansea City in the Carabao Cup and after impressing fans, they’ll want to see him from the first whistle.

Ange Postecoglou is likely to make a lot of changes on Wednesday night as the football schedule starts to become tighter.

There are just three days between the Arsenal match and Swansea, and then they have another game three days later against Burnley.

The games are coming thick and fast, and that is before European football comes along. Either way, Ange Postecoglou should make one clear decision on Wednesday.

Dilane Bakwa should start against Swansea City

After impressing off the bench, Dilane Bakwa should be given the chance to show his ability from the start against Swansea City.

It will be the perfect opportunity for the winger to make a name for himself in Forest colours, and give the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi or Dan Ndoye a rest before the Thursday to Sunday schedule starts to kick in.

Ange has a big squad, and he should use it whenever he can. The Carabao Cup match against Swansea will be the first chance to do so.

Forest travel to Wales on Wednesday night at 8 pm, as Ange will hope to progress in a competition that could be a real chance at silverware this season.
