Accrington Stanley manager John Doolan says two words about Isaac Heath that Everton fans will…

Everton coaches have really high hopes for Isaac Heath.

Isaac Heath was voted Everton’s under-21 Player of the Season last year and was rewarded with minutes in the first team during pre-season.

Everton fans were impressed by Heath in the summer as he won a penalty against Accrington Stanley after a mazy run.

David Moyes and his staff decided a loan move would be best for his development, though, so he joined Accrington on deadline day.

Manager John Doolan has handed him a couple of starts now and gave his verdict on the 2004-born after the 1-0 win against Colchester on the weekend.

Accrington manager gives verdict on Everton loanee Isaac Heath

Heath scored for Accrington on his debut and made his third appearance for the club on Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes.

Heath won the Man of the Match award, and Accrington fans are convinced he will become a ‘top player’ in the future.

Manager John Doolan labelled him an ‘unbelievable talent’ speaking to the media team post-match.

“We had chance after chance,” Doolan explained.

“I think we won every first contact, we picked up every second ball, we got the ball wide into the areas we wanted to get into with Isaac Heath, who is an unbelievable talent.”

David Moyes will be keeping a close eye on Isaac Heath

Given Accrington isn’t too far from Merseyside, Moyes will likely be dropping in to watch Heath when he can.

Part of the reason to send Harrison Armstrong to Preston was that it was in close proximity to Moyes’ home, making it easier to keep tabs on his progress. That’s probably why Everton decided to send Heath to Accrington, too.

"I thought last season was really good for the squad." 👊

The 20-year-old has made a really bright start to his career in League Two, but if he is to become a future Everton player, there will likely have to be another loan at a higher level, perhaps next term.

Or, a January move may not be off the cards, depending on if Everton hold the option to break his loan with Accrington.
