Camavinga has not played a single minute under new manager Xabi Alonso due to one injury after another, but looks set to finally return on the weekend.
The Frenchman was supposed to return from his hamstring injury before the start of the new season, but faced a fresh set of problems that ruled him out for another month.
He will still miss the match against Marseille at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, but is aiming for the weekend to get some much-needed minutes.
He was training with the team on Monday, which is good news for all parties involved.
Camavinga’s injury troubles since the start of the 2024-25 season have been well documented, and one can only hope that the player is able to return and stay fit for as long as possible.
