One Manchester United fan has been slammed for using Ruben Amorim's face in a "sick" Charlie Kirk meme.
The United fan took to social media after the Red Devils' 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday evening to vent their frustration. They shared a video of Kirk's assassination with Ruben Amorim's face superimposed over the top.
Kirk was speaking at Utah Valley University at an open-air event held by Turning Point USA when he was killed after being hit in the neck by a single bullet on Wednesday (10 September). Tyler Robinson, 22, has since been taken into custody.
The Amorim video was accompanied with the message: "#AmorimOut," but it has received massive backlash from fellow United supporters.
"You’ve got to be sick to post something like this," one person responded. While a second replied: "Na this is disgusting. It’s too far."

"Nah bro this ain’t it. Hate the manager whatever, this is too far," a third said.
As another shared: "Think it’s getting to a point that I will leave football Twitter for good. I don’t even know what I’m doing here anymore when stuff like this gets thousands of likes..."
And a fifth added: "Nah, this is just sick. He’s a football coach. It’s a sport. Go touch some grass."

Amorim's side have sunk to 14th in the table, but according to the Manchester Evening News, his role at the Red Devils is safe.
A source close to Amorim acknowledges it is "incredible" that his job isn't genuinely under threat despite suffering 16 defeats in 31 league games.

"Guys, I understand that and I accept," Amorim said regarding his league statistics. "It is not a record you should have in Manchester United.
"There are a lot of things - you have no idea what happened during these months - but I accept that. I am not going to change."
