With David Moyes facing his former club West Ham this month, Everton have been handed an advantage.
September and October are pivotal months for the Toffees as some tricky tests await Everton after such a strong start.
The Merseyside derby is up next on Saturday at Anfield, but the Blues must try and continue their consistency against Premier League opposition.
There’s a great feeling around the club, which has even left Farhad Moshiri pleased with Everton’s form.
Moyes’ fortunes have only got better, as West Ham have lost a pivotal player who will be ruled out for their clash later this month.

Everton transfer target Tomas Soucek won’t play in West Ham meeting after red card
Tomas Soucek was a name that looked destined to reunite with Moyes on Merseyside, but Soucek rejected a move to Everton this summer.
In a way, it could be seen that the Blues dodged a bullet, as the midfielder hasn’t got off to the best of starts this campaign, with the latest decision seeing him get sent off against Tottenham for a shocking challenge.

It was claimed that Everton bid £14.7 million for Soucek, with the Czech midfielder having a strong relationship with Moyes, but they won’t come face to face following this rash tackle, as he’s suspended for three games.
Following their time at West Ham being a raging success, the Toffees boss will know how much his suspension has handed the Blues an early boost ahead of the fixture.
David Moyes will know how much threat Tomas Soucek poses in boost for Everton
The Czech star is crucial to West Ham, and despite their poor start, he still plays a vital role.
It’s a role that Soucek established under Moyes as he came up time and time again for the Scot, even against Everton.
Moyes was desperate for a reunion with Soucek, but it wasn’t to be, and the fact that he chased him for so long proves how good an asset he could have been.
Ultimately, the Everton manager will be relieved he doesn’t have to face the Czech international at the end of September.
The Irons will see it as a big miss, but it works to the Toffees’ advantage, and judging by West Ham’s form, Moyes’ side are heavy favourites for the encounter.
