After New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson had a poor performance in week one against the Washington Commanders, he bounced back in a big way against the Dallas Cowboys. Wilson completed 30-of-41 passes for 450 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
The Giants lost 40-37 in overtime against Dallas and drop to 0-2 on the season. With the Giants dropping to 0-2 once again, many are wondering if the season is already over for New York with a tough schedule ahead for them. There were other things that were happening across the NFL in week two. Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a turf toe injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars and will be sidelined for the next three months. Should New York trade Wilson to Cincinnati?
New York Giants Fans Believe They Should Trade Russell Willson to the Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are 2-0 this season and they want to contend for the playoffs. Cincinnati will be starting Jake Browning at quarterback for the next three months and it appears as if they will be fine with him. However, Giants fans think that they should trade Wilson to the Bengals considering that Cincinnati will contend and New York won't be contenders again this season.
The #Giants are 0-2. They should trade Russell Wilson to the Bengals and start Jaxson Dart with Jameis Winston as the backup. There, I said it.

Joe Burrow’s out until mid-December. If the Bengals want any shot at making the playoffs to give themselves a chance to go on a run with Joe Burrow back, they’ll call Joe Schoen right now and offer a day 2 pick for Russell Wilson.

Trade Russell Wilson to the Bengals for a 3rd Rd Draft pick TODAY !!!!

It would be interesting to see if the Giants did wind up trading Wilson to the Bengals with Burrow being out for the next three months. If New York did that, then rookie Jaxson Dart would be the starting quarterback for the rest of the season. The Giants at some point will have to see what they have in Dart.
At the moment, head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen are on the hot seat. What kind of draft capital would the Giants be able to get from the Bengals for Wilson? If the Bengals decide to ride with Browning instead of trading for Wilson, then they are risking their season with Browning for the next three months instead of trading for a proven veteran.
