The Eagles were thrown out of UEFA's secondary competition due to a conflict of interest with Lyon.
At the time of a UEFA deadline for this season, John Textor owned controlling stakes in both clubs, which is against the governing body's rules.

Ange Postecoglou has replaced Nuno Espirito Santo at the City Ground, and he is looking to make history by becoming the first manager to win back-to-back Europa League titles at different clubs.
Meanwhile, Villa just missed out on the Champions League to Newcastle on the last day of the season.
The other British representatives are Celtic and Rangers.
The two Scottish giants crashed out of the Champions League in the final qualifying stage.
The Gers were thrashed 9-1 on aggregate by Club Brugge, and the Bhoys lost to Kazakhstan side FC Kairat.
Perhaps the Europa League will prove to be a welcome distraction for both.
