The post featured photos of Manning, two of his daughters and his son. The first showed the athlete in a Savannah Bananas T-shirt with his children on the Yankee Stadium field. He posed with his arms around his three smiling kids.
The second photo was of Manning wearing a black shirt and black hat with sunglasses concealing his identity as he posed in a room with his family.
A video shared on the Savannah Bananas Instagram revealed that Manning went undercover as an umpire at the game. He entered the field in his all-black outfit and interacted with the players before staging a fight with another umpire. After kicking dirt repeatedly at the other umpire, the former quarterback revealed his actual identity.
"Please welcome two-time Super Bowl champion for your New York Giants, Eli Manning," the announcer said as the crowd erupted in cheers.
