Report: Commanders QB Daniels has knee injury, status iffy

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has a knee injury that has his status for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders in question, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Monday.

Daniels’ knee was heavily wrapped after last Thursday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Backup Marcus Mariota would start if Daniels if unable to play. Mariota, 31, played two seasons for the Raiders (2020-21).
