Bills’ Milano (pec) misses practice

The injury bug has bitten Matt Milano again.

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott confirmed that the 31-year-old middle linebacker missed practice on Monday with a pec injury.

Milano did not play in the second half of the Bills’ 30-10 rout of the New York Jets on Sunday. The Boston College product recorded five tackles, including one for a loss, in the game’s first half-hour.

Asked if Milano’s injury could be of the longer term, McDermott simply answered, “We’ll see.”

With the Bills set to host the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football, the short week will obviously be a factor in Milano’s potential availability.

A native of Orlando, Milano has struggled with injury over the past two seasons, appearing in a combined nine games including five in 2024. An All-Pro in 2022, Milano has appeared in 96 games over nine seasons. For his career, Milano has recorded 513 tackles, 10 interceptions and 11.5 sacks.
