According to Fichajes, Ruben Vargas is actively being pursued by Premier League clubs ahead of the January window. Tottenham are the latest team in the mix for the 27-year-old La Liga winger, who is also high on Aston Villa’s shortlist ahead of the winter window.
Ruben Vargas has made a significant impact on proceedings during his short stint at Sevilla after his move from Augsburg in January. While his numbers do not indicate productivity, the reality is that the Swiss international is already emerging to be one of the key players for the Spanish side.
However, there might be a case that Sevilla might look to cash in on the winger very early in his career in La Liga, as Premier League sides are already circling. Monchi of Aston Villa is keen to bring him to Birmingham, while Tottenham are the latest to join the race.
