Tavernier wants to help take Cherries 'to places it's never been before'

Bournemouth are in fourth on nine points from four games so far this term, after three consecutive wins against Wolves, Spurs and Brighton.

“We feel as a team and as a club that if we put our performance on that way we can go up against any team,” he said.

“And I feel like over the games that we've played, we've shown that. We've shown those capabilities that we have on both ends of the pitch and it's shown on the pitch.”

“I've been at this club when it's been completely different and ultimately at the time where it's been really good.

Asked about continuing to break records and potentially breaking into the top eight in the league, Tavernier said: “That's the thing we've done last two seasons.

“We always just want to continue to improve. We broke another record today with the best start we've had.

“So we just want to continue to build up with this club and take it to places it's never been before.”
