Game Recap: Chargers Defeat Raiders in Primetime For 2-0 Start

The Chargers are 2-0 after a gritty 20-9 win over the Raiders in primetime.

Here's a game recap from Week 2.

### **Turning Point**

Both teams went back and forth in the opening quarter before the Chargers led 10-6, with just over four minutes left in the second quarter.

The Bolts promptly got to work and put together a 91-yard touchdown drive that spanned just five plays and 2 minutes and 43 seconds off the clock.

Omarion Hampton sparked the sequence with a 15-yard run on third-and-1 that moved the chains and kept the drive alive.

Justin Herbert then hit Will Dissly for seven yards before the clock reached the 2-minute warning.

The Bolts drew up a perfect play during the break as Herbert hit Quentin Johnston on a 60-yard touchdown right away for a highlight-reel score.

Up 17-6, the Chargers thwarted any chance the Raiders had to grab momentum as Tony Jefferson intercepted Geno Smith at the 1-yard line after the Raiders quarterback tried to respond with a deep touchdown pass of his own.
