Fans said the same thing about Chris Fowler calling Mnf game

Fans all said the same thing about Chris Fowler after hearing him announce the “Monday Night Football” game between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday night.

ESPN televised two different games on Monday night. The first was a game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Houston Texans that featured ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” announcing team of Troy Aikman and Joe Buck. The second game was between the Chargers and Raiders, and that featured the second Monday night team, with Fowler, Dan Orlovsky and Louis Riddick as the announcers.

Fans noticed immediately that Fowler’s voice wasn’t quite right, and they figured that all the announcing he had done recently had caught up to him.

I speak for the entire football community on this one— ESPN, please give Chris Fowler a night off. We don’t need to hear his raspy voice for 3 hours. He’s clearly sick and needs some rest🤧

Can we give Chris Fowler a day off? I didn’t even realize it was him in the intro

Chris Fowler sounds like he hasn't slept since the beginning of the U.S. Open

Chris Fowler must’ve killed his voice after the Tennessee Georgia game lmao

Yes, Fowler has gone from calling the US Open to calling the Georgia-Tennessee game, to calling the Monday night game in Las Vegas. He’s been a busy man, and he clearly was battling some sort of illness.

You can hear him in this clip, and you’ll notice how different his voice sounded:

hoooooooollllyyyy sh*t
