While Unai Emery has options in most positions, Aston Villa are in make-do and mend territory in one position for Tuesday night's Carabao Cup third round tie with Brentford.
The Spaniard is expected to make changes to his line-up and could hand debuts to Jadon Sancho and Harvey Elliott against the Bees.
Marco Bizot should come in for Emi Martinez in goal and there are likely to be alterations in defence.
However, Emery doesn't have much room for manouevre in central midfield having lost another key player in the draw at Everton at the weekend.
Youri Tielemans' knock means Villa are currently without four midfielders, while Andres Garcia is a doubt at right back.

Injury : Calf
Situation : The Belgian was taken off at half time at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and Emery was tightlipped merely confirming a knock.
Possible return date: Unknown.
Amadou Onana
Injury : Hamstring
Situation : Onana suffered an injury before the international break, Emery suggested last week he is close to a return but isn't expected to be ready for Tuesday night.
Possible return date : September 21
Boubacar Kamara
Injury : Hamstring
Situation : Last played against Brentford in the league in late August when he was taken off after 16 minutes.

Situation : Emery said last week: "He has a personal issue, and I think he will come back, or he will be available soon, but not yet."
