The Champions League proper is finally back, with this season's league phase getting under way on Tuesday, when we'll see the likes of Real Madrid, Arsenal and Juventus kicking off their continental campaigns
Paris Saint-Germain will begin the defence of their title against Atalanta the following night - which also features a couple of heavyweight contests between Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, and Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
Of course, just like last year, matchday one will be spread out over three evenings, and Newcastle's game against Barcelona at St. James' Park, and Manchester City's Etihad showdown with Napoli, are the pick of Thursday's games.
