Arizona and ASU graduates shine at NFL level

Cam Skattebo, Tetairoa McMillan, Tyler Loop and Jacory Croskey-Merritt are already making names for themselves

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Cam Skattebo, Tetairoa McMillan, Tyler Loop and Jacory Croskey-Merritt, all former University of Arizona or Arizona State Football players are making waves on the big stage in the NFL.

In Dallas this past weekend, Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo scored his first NFL touchdown, punching one in from the goal line.

The former Sun Devil is also leading all running backs on the Giants in rushing yards, and is only behind veteran quarterback Russell Wilson in rushing yards for New York.

Tetairoa McMillan, also known as T-Mac, is emerging as the Carolina Panthers number one receiver. He's yet to find the endzone, but he leads the team with 11 receptions and 168 yards.

The 6-foot-5-inch receiver was born to do this and is just getting started.

Let's pivot to a completely different position. Baltimore Ravens kicker Tyler Loop has been a beast so far, making all of his field goals with a career long of 52-yards.

As the ravens kicker, the former Wildcat grad has accounted for a little over 25% of Baltimore's points so far this season.

Finally, it's only right to give a shout out to Jacory Croskey-Merrit. For those who play fantasy football, I'm sure you are familiar with this guy.

Croskey-merrit was selected in the seventh round of the NFL Draft but has been solid so far, accounting for 99 yards and a touchdown over two games. With veteran running back Austin Ekeler out for the year, the wildcat grad's production will likely increase.
