Everton have put their foot down and said one player is off limits in the next summer transfer window.
With Everton succeeding in the Premier League at the moment, a lot of the squad might be on other clubs’ radar.
That’s the issue with playing well, as high-performing players will pique the interest of clubs in a better position.
Inter Milan enquired about Iliman Ndiaye, as the Italians seem to be keen admirers of the winger.
It could be difficult to keep the Senegalese international, but the Friedkin Group have made it clear one player is not for sale.

Many assets are key to David Moyes’ side, and Jarrad Branthwaite has proven his worth as the Toffees’ best centre-back.

After signing a new deal, it’s no surprise that the owners want to make it obvious that the defender won’t be leaving, and his quality will be a key factor moving forward.
Jamie Carragher labelled Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite as ‘pretty special’
Not only is the centre-back a brilliant player, but the fact that he signed for just £1 million from Carlisle United shows how brilliant his recruitment was.
He’s an inspired transfer and one that Moyes will be hoping to replicate moving forward, as Branthwaite has a big future ahead of him.
Jamie Carragher certainly thought so in February 2024, as speaking on Monday Night Football, the pundit had some high praise for the Everton star.
“Branthwaite has been outstanding,” Carragher said.
“I think this lad is pretty special. He’s a big part of why Everton, in my eyes have a good chance of staying up, him and his partnership with [James] Tarkowski.”
Branthwaite is now worth £52 million, but the Toffees wouldn’t even entertain bids in this margin; however, it seems like any offer wouldn’t satisfy them.
