“He is who everybody say he is. I feel like he’s the best running back in this league. He shows it each and every day. Not just on Sundays, but Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, all the way throughout the week. You can tell he loves this game, he loves his players, he loves this team. It’s great to be able to have somebody like that,” Penix said.

Robinson’s versatility makes him particularly valuable to Atlanta’s offensive system.
He dominated as a receiver in Week 1, recording six catches for 100 yards and one touchdown, though he managed just 24 rushing yards on 12 attempts that game.
The Week 2 performance against Minnesota showed that rushing output was clearly an anomaly rather than a trend.
Robinson carried the ball 22 times for 143 yards, averaging an impressive 6.5 yards per carry against Minnesota’s defense.
The Falcons made Robinson the centerpiece of their ground attack against the Vikings, and the strategy paid dividends.
