NFL Insider Ian Rapoport provided details about the expected timeline for Beebe’s return.
“Cowboys center Cooper Beebe, a key part of their stellar O-line, is expected to miss 6-8 weeks with a high-ankle sprain, sources say. He’s almost certainly headed to Injured Reserve, but should be back in the second half of the season,” Rapoport posted on X.

The third-round pick from the 2024 NFL Draft had started all 16 games as a rookie after replacing Tyler Biadasz, earning recognition for his leadership, durability, and technical proficiency.
The extended absence creates immediate concerns for Dallas’ offensive production, which relies heavily on the performance and cohesion of its offensive line.
The Cowboys currently sit at 1-1 with both a narrow victory and a close defeat through two weeks.
Dallas plans to place Beebe on injured reserve, making him unavailable for at least four games, with his return likely extending into early November.
Backup lineman Brock Hoffman, who saw limited action against the Giants, is expected to assume starting duties during the recovery period.
