Arsenal fullback Ben White appears to have had a setback in his recovery from injury.
The defender was back on the bench for the 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend, having missed the games against Leeds and Liverpool.

However, Football.London claim White missed training on Monday, with the defender not expected to be involved in the first Champions League fixture against Athletic Bilbao. Fans on X are rather concerned about this latest development:

White is in danger of missing the clash against City
The 27-year-old has had constant fitness problems over the last 12 months. He decided to undergo a knee operation last November after experiencing issues in the opening weeks of the 2024/25 campaign, and since then he has been on and off the treatment table with a series of minor knocks.
With it looking certain that he will be sidelined for the game against Athletic, he is also a major doubt for the Premier League fixture versus Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday.
Another Arsenal player was absent
White was not the only member of the first-team squad unable to take part in training. Captain Martin Odegaard was not pictured in photos, which suggests the injury he picked up against Forest could rule him out of contention.
The Norwegian was forced off in the first half on Saturday after he landed awkwardly on the same shoulder that he injured against Leeds last month.
