Aston Villa’s midfield injury crisis has eased ahead of two big matches this week against Brentford in the Carabao Cup and Sunderland on Sunday.
Boubacar Kamara has travelled with the Villa squad to face the Bees, and the team news will be confirmed at around 7pm.
The French midfielder missed the defeat to Crystal Palace before the September international break, as well as the 0-0 draw at Everton last weekend.
He had suffered a hamstring injury during the 1-0 loss at Brentford, being replaced by Emi Buendia in the 16th minute.
Amadou Onana, who started against Brentford over three weeks ago, then sustained a hamstring injury of his own before Villa’s match against Palace.
His international teammate, Youri Tielemans, is sidelined after picking up a calf injury during the first half of the Everton match.
Meanwhile, Ross Barkley is currently unavailable due to a personal issue.
