Substitutes Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard combined to fire Arsenal to a 2-0 win over Athletic Club in their Champions League opener at San Mames.
A scrappy contest was settled in the final 18 minutes – Martinelli finishing a swift counter before setting up Trossard, whose shot found the net via a deflection and the post.
