Leeds United sensation Harry Gray has been one to watch for some time in the youth setup, and tonight was no different.
There’s been a serious lack of goals this season so far for Daniel Farke’s first team. They’re yet to score from open play in the Premier League from four games so far.
Many are wondering how that might be rectified with existing options, which some suggest should involve exploring one of the club’s brightest talents in recent years.

Harry Gray scores U21 hattrick against National League side Scunthorpe
The teenager every Leeds fan is excited to see break into the senior setup full time is Harry Gray. It comes following a breakout in 23/24 for older brother, £40million Tottenham man Archie.
Having made his debut in the 6-0 Stoke City victory back in April, Gray hasn’t featured in a competitive fixture since.
In the meantime, he’s been busy in the U21s. He’s scored four and assisted one in just three PL2 games against, assisted one against League Two Port Vale in the EFL Trophy. This evening, he has just scored a hattrick tonight.
Featuring for the U21s against senior National League outfit Scunthorpe United, Gray’s three goals secured a 3-1 victory for the Whites in the trophy they’re currently defending.
Is a Premier League debut inevitable for Harry Gray at Leeds United?
It’s a monumental ask to suggest Leeds’ Premier League survival bid should include Gray in an important role.
That being said, his performances at youth level indicate he’s simply too good to keep playing at that standard for much longer.
He’s a constant goal threat, but as he showed in pre-season too, he’s got a lot more to his game in link-up.
Leeds have a sensational talent on their hands and hopefully he keeps developing at this rapid rate.
