Red Raiders in the NFL | Regular Season Week 2, Sept. 11-15
LUBBOCK, Texas – After week one of the NFL season, Red Raiders in the NFL saw an addition to its lineup as the Cincinnati Bengals added defensive end Myles Cole to its practice squad to increase the number of Red Raiders in the NFL to 15 for week two. On the field, the second week was highlighted by Jordyn Brooks' eight tackles and a sack for the Dolphins, as well as Austin McNamara being called into duty for the Jets by providing seven punts for a net average of 42.6, his longest boot of the day being 55 yards.

S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (2019-23): Taylor-Demerson and the Arizona Cardinals moved to 2-0 in their home-opener with a 27-22 win over the Carolina Panthers. Taylor-Demerson recorded four tackles as he played 52 percent of his snaps at safety with an additional 14 snaps on special teams.

The Dallas Cowboys needed a 64-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey to send the game into overtime and stopped the New York Football Giants twice to set Aubrey up for a game-winning 46-yard chip shot in the extra period.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS vs. Philadelphia Eagles (L, 20-17)
QB Patrick Mahomes II (2014-16): In last season's Super Bowl (LIX) rematch, Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in their home-opener. Just like last week, Mahomes led the team in rushing with 66 yards on seven carries, which included a 13-yard touchdown. He completed 16 of his passes on 22 attempts for 187 yards and one touchdown. The Chiefs are 0-2 for the first time in the Mahomes era. The franchise's last 0-2 start came back in 2014 – Andy Reid's second season as head coach.
