Bills’ Joey Bosa can’t believe what the Jets did to try and stop him — and his reaction says it …

Joey Bosa is off to a fast start with the Buffalo Bills.

The defensive end, signed in free agency, leads the league in forced fumbles. Bosa has three through two weeks, while no other player in the league has more than one.

He’s also getting after the quarterback at a high rate. In the Bills’ 30-10 win over the New York Jets, Bosa recorded seven pressures and one sack on just 15 pass rush snaps. His dominating performance earned him a 96.7 pass rush grade from Pro Football Focus.

While Bosa did most of his work against the Jets’ offensive linemen in Week 2, the veteran was stunned to find New York lining up rookie tight end Mason Taylor against him.

Needless to say, the matchup did not go well for Taylor. After recording a sack on Justin Fields, Bosa was recorded talking with teammate A.J. Epenesa.

“They put a tight end on me,” Bosa said in disbelief. “They put a tight end on me!”

Let that be a lesson to the rest of the league. Don’t put a tight end on Bosa.

Bosa’s production has been off the charts, which has led to an enjoyable start to his career with the Bills. Although the sacks and forced fumbles have helped, Bosa has not been shy about how much fun he is having with the Bills in general.

“The energy is just super fun and I feel like I’ve connected with these guys a lot in a short period time,” Bosa told the media. “It already feels like I’ve been here for years… I think just it being a new situation, a fresh start for me. I feel like I’m just trying to make the most of it and trying to have fun.”

Another part of the fun for Bosa is how well he fits into Buffalo’s defense.

“My body type fits that position (in a 4-3). That’s most comfortable for me, having my hand down... And then obviously having my hand down and being able to rush the passer... I’m kind of getting back to my roots and what I played throughout in my entire career in college. It was easy to pick up and, yeah, it’s been enjoyable.”

Bosa will look to pick up where he left off on Thursday Night Football when the Bills host the Miami Dolphins.
