The Green Bay Packers will not have the services of wide receiver Jayden Reed for several weeks after he suffered a shoulder injury in Week 2’s 27-18 win at Lambeau Field over Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders.
Reed left that game in the first quarter and did not return after hurting his shoulder while trying to complete a catch in the end zone.
The 25-year-old Reed has already taken a major step in his journey to return to action, as hewent under the knife recently to address the fractures in his collarbone and foot.
Despite his predicament, Reed seemingly remains in high spirits.
Reed sees a Super Bowl winner in the Packers

Reed’s absence is a significant one for Green Bay’s passing attack, especially with another wide receiver, Christian Watson, still unavailable. However, Green Bay has a deep wide receiver room that features the likes of Matthew Golden, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and Malik Heath. That’s not to mention emerging star tight end Tucker Kraft, who had a career night in thewin against the Commanders.
Reed, who led Green Bay in 2024 with 857 receiving yards, has 45 receiving yards and a touchdown on three receptions and five targets in 2025.
Reed (11) makes a reception for a first down during the first quarter of their game against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
