Conor Benn threatened to "chin" Chris Eubank Jr following their heated face-off ahead of their initial encounter back in April.

The two stars put on a real Fight of the Year contender earlier this year at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. In an epic back-and-forth middleweight dust-up, Eubank Jr went on to get his hand raised on points.

Eubank Jr and Benn are set to go head-to-head for a second time on November 15 - with the latter desperate to level the score. The build-up to their first showdown was marred by controversy. Ahead of their grudge match, Eubank Jr sparked chaotic scenes after he slapped his rival in the face with an egg.

Security were forced to intervene, before eventually separating the pair. To mark the release of Netflix docuseries 'Matchroom: The Greatest Showmen' - which "follow father-son duo Barry and Eddie Hearn in their bid to take their heavyweight sports promotion company to the next level" - the streaming service released a short clip of Benn's immediate reaction to the slap.

During an interaction with Matchroom Boxing CEO Frank Smith, Benn threatened to "chin" his bitter rival. Most notably, Smith is currently in a long-term relationship with Eubank Jr's sister, Emily, but he remains committed to promoting Benn.

Following the stunning scenes back in February, Benn told Smith: "Your brother-in-law is f*****," to which Smith replied: "I don't represent him. I represent you." The Matchroom commander then had to calm the 28-year-old down after he vowed to "chin' Eubank Jr.

"I will chin him,” said the fighter, while Smith replied: “You can't chin him.” An enraged Benn hit back: “No, I will.” Doing his best to calm the boxer down, Smith revealed how he could end up in a spot of bother if he followed through with it. “Conor, don't do anything, because they'll look for one thing for you to do to f*** you over. It's not worth it, they will f*** you over,” said Smith.

Later on in the camera, Benn can be heard saying: “I know Frank is Team Benn deep down, watch Frank jump up and down when I knock his brother-in-law out.” Despite eventually settling their differences in the ring, it seems as if Benn still has a genuine hatred for his foe.

Benn, speaking to Reece Mennie on his podcast, said: "It was dangerous for both, it just depends on who’s side of the fence you’re sitting on. The only thing that affected him was the rehydration, but his team said that he can’t put on more than 10lbs, so 10lbs was the limit. I’m a 147lb fighter, you can see I’m not a 160lb fighter, and I weighed in at 157lbs and I was underweight!

"But we both took a risk in fighting at a different weight, I took a risk in fighting a bigger guy, so let’s find a common ground, but there are pros and cons to us being at that weight, it all just depends on who does it better. And he didn’t do it better, because he’s unprofessional and he cost me £500,000. I still think he’s an idiot. I will always think he’s an idiot!"

When is Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr II?

The 12-round middleweight rematch is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 15. It will once again be held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London. Official times are yet to be confirmed - but it is likely that the undercard will begin at around 5pm UK time.

In the main event, the ringwalks will likely take place at around 9:50pm UK time. The first clash was shown on DAZN PPV for a price of £19.95, but full broadcast details will be confirmed in the near future.
