Browns opt to stay with known quantity at quarterback: Crowquill

CLEVELAND, Ohio — As the Cleveland Browns (0-2) get ready to take on the Green Bay Packers (2-0) they’ve decided to start Joe Flacco again at quarterback despite his propensity to turn the ball over.

Flacco opened the season by throwing two interceptions against the Cincinnati Bengals, both of which bounced off the receivers’ hands into the defender’s arms. Flacco’s throws could have been better, but the interceptions weren’t entirely his fault.

Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, Flacco’s interception was his fault as he forced a throw into tight coverage instead of safely throwing the ball away. He also fumbled, which the Ravens returned for a touchdown.

Flacco’s miscues almost seem scripted, but for now the Browns best chance to win is probably Joe.
