Maldini Kacurri has joined National League side Morecambe on a season-long loan.
The 19-year-old joined us in March 2022, having previously played for Fulham, and went on to sign his first professional contract with us in June 2024.
Maldini made 14 appearances in all competitions across our academy last season, as well as a first team debut when he came on as a substitute in our 5-1 win against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup third round.
The defender finished the 2024/25 campaign with a short-term loan spell at League Two side, Bromley.
London-born Maldini was recently selected for the Albania National Team, having already represented his country as a youth international. He made his senior debut, playing the full 90 minutes in Albania's 1-0 win against Gibraltar, during the September International Break.
We wish Maldini all the best for his loan spell with Morecambe and look forward to seeing his continued development.
The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
