The Broncos’ are missing production from key players rewarded this offseason

The Denver Broncos put a lot of effort this offseason into improving their team. Extensions were handed out to Courtland Sutton, Nik Bonitto, and Zach Allen. Big-name free agents Evan Engram, Dre Greenlaw, and Talanoa Hufanga were signed.

We’ve definitely seen some impact from Bonitto, Allen, and Hufanga so far this season.

What concerns me is that Courtland Sutton and Evan Engram have been ineffective on offense, and Dre Greenlaw has yet to suit up for a game.

The Broncos need playmakers to show up and can’t afford to just pay good money to players that aren’t impactful.

Evan Engram is getting outperformed by Adam Trautman at Tight End.

Courtland Sutton is getting outperformed by 2nd year wide receiver Troy Franklin.

Dre Greenlaw is getting outperformed by every linebacker on the roster.

I do think some level of patience is needed. This is only two weeks into the season, after all. I do think every one of these players can make a significant impact in helping the Broncos win games. They are talented players who are top players in their positions after all.
