Tottenham Hotspur marked their return to the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over Spanish side Villarreal on Tuesday night.
An early own goal earned Spurs an important victory in their first match of the group phase, with Thomas Frank’s side holding on to secure all three points.
Next up for the Lilywhites is a trip to face Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt later this month, but in the meantime it has emerged that Tottenham are tracking a Premier League defender ahead of the January transfer window.
As per Fichajes via CaughtOffside, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea are all monitoring Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
The report claims that the three Premier League giants are all keeping tabs on the Englishman, who has been capped once by the Three Lions at senior level.

Manchester United are said to be particularly interested in the centre-back, with the Red Devils ready to launch an offer in the region of £60 million for the player.
Branthwaite, 23, initially joined the Toffees from boyhood club Carlisle United back in 2020 and has since spent time on loan at both Blackburn Rovers and Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
In total he has now played 86 times for Everton across all competitions, although he is yet to feature so far this term due to injury.
The Englishman is contracted to the Merseyside outfit until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, and Everton will want to keep hold of a player that has played a key role for them over the past couple of seasons.
Chelsea have struggled with injuries to defenders over the past year or so, with centre-back Levi Colwill set to miss the majority of the current campaign.
Axel Disasi has also fallen almost completely out of favour at Stamford Bridge, and those in charge of the Blues could therefore be on the hunt for defensive reinforcements.
