Barcelona are reportedly in talks with Spotify to extend their sponsorship deal for another four years.
According to Cadena SER, both sides are happy with their relationship and hope to extend their partnership to 2029/30.
Spotify are Barca’s main shirt sponsors but have also used artists to feature on the club’s shirts in Clasico matches with Real Madrid.
We’ve already seen Coldplay, Drake, Rosalía, the Rolling Stones, Karol G and Travis Scott used, while [Ed Sheeran is expected to be the latest superstar to be on Barca’s shirts in October](/barcelona-la-liga/101192/ed-sheeran-tipped-to-be-latest-superstar-on-barcelona-shirts-for-next-clasico-with-real-madrid).
The renewal option is said to guarantee Barca a slight increase to €65m annually from Spotify for match shirts, but there’s also an option to advertise on the training shirts which could rise as high as €15m (€10m for the front and €5m for the back).
However, the report suggests Barca could try to renegotiate the numbers, largely due to the team’s recent success under Hansi Flick and Lamine Yamal’s new No. 10 shirt now a big seller.
