Since taking over as Arsenal manager in December 2019, Mikel Arteta has built a very strong squad at the Emirates.

Arsenal finished second in the Premier League for three consecutive seasons and they will be looking to go one better in the 2025/26 campaign.

The squad – which includes a mixture of academy graduates and big-money signings – have all signed professional contracts with the north London side.

Arsenal were very active in the summer transfer window, buying Gyokeres, Zubimendi, Eze, Madueke, Kepa, Norgaard and Mosquera.

The Gunners also signed Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan deal, which includes an option to buy next summer for £45million.

Alongside the new signings, they have been working on contract extensions and gave Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri new long-term deals at the Emirates.

“It means everything to me, I’m so happy to have got it done,” Nwaneri said after signing a five-year contract. “This is where I feel at home, and where I’m going to develop the best,” he said.

“I’m very excited. I see this as my first real season and part of a proper squad in the changing room. I’m so excited for what I can bring to the team and how I can help the team.

“I think I’ve actually become more direct over the past few years and I’ve added more goals, so I’m excited for what will come next.”

The total wage bill at Arsenal is currently estimated to be in the region of £3.49million-per-week, which equates to £181.4million-per-year. It is currently the second-highest wage bill in the Premier League, behind only Manchester City.

Havertz joined Arsenal from Chelsea in 2023 and signed a £280,000-per-week contract, making him the highest-paid player at the Emirates.

He is closely followed by Jesus, who was handed a £265,000-per-week contract after his big-money transfer from Manchester City in 2022.

Rice and Odegaard both have £240,000-per-week contracts and are joint-third, while Gyokeres takes fifth spot with a base salary of £200,000-per-week.

A number of Arsenal players have performance-related bonuses in their contracts, including Havertz (£50,000-per-week), Odegaard (£60,000-per-week), Saka (£100,000-per-week), Rice (£60,000-per-week), Jesus (£66,250-per-week) and Gabriel (£50,000-per-week).

Lewis Skelly was initially on £4,000-per-week before signing his contract extension and is now one of the Premier League’s best-paid youngsters.

According to reports in Portugal, Gyokeres’ agent waived his €7million commission from the summer transfer in order to help move along negotiations between the Gunners and Sporting.

“I don’t understand how a player who scored so many goals and won three trophies didn’t deserve more respect,” said Jonathan Chalkias, who works alongside Hasan Cetinkaya.

“The sacrifices we made were the turning point for the deal to happen.”

Saka is represented by Elite Project Group Limited, whose other clients include Jadon Sancho and Romeo Lavia as well as former Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun.

Martinelli is now represented by Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports agency after the company acquired the Brazilian TFM Agency in the summer of 2023.

Nwaneri enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season in 2024/25 and has now signed up with Unique Sports Group. They also have Anthony Gordon, Marc Guehi and Reece James on their books.

While most of the players in the Arsenal squad have hired renowned agents, Rice is represented by family members.
