In a new interview with CBS Mornings, superstar rapper confirmed that her relationship with New England Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs has taken a huge turn.
“Yes, I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi B revealed. “… I’m excited. I am very happy. I feel like I’m in a good space, I feel very strong, very powerful, that I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby. Me and my man, we are very supportive of each other. We’re, like, in the same space in our careers. We are really great, and one of the best at what we do.”
The popular hip hop star and the four-time Pro Bowler have not been dating long. There were rumors since October of last year that the celebrities had become very friendly. However, it was not until June that they went public and confirmed they were officially an item. After today, it seems like they are getting a quick start to family building despite the pair not being engaged.

This will be Cardi B’s fourth child. Her three children are seven-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari, four-year-old son Wave Set, and Blossom — who she just gave birth to in September 2024. Their father is fellow rap star Offset. This new baby will be Diggs’ second. His daughter Nova was born in 2016.
The relationship between Cardi B and the New England Patriots’ wide receiver is the latest in a trend between NFL stars and female celebrities. The most notable is the newly engaged pairing of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. However, Buffalo Bills superstar Josh Allen is married to popular actress Hailee Steinfeld. And New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner was recently dating hip hop star Ice Spice.
